Internship Program Overview
Our internship program is designed to introduce talented community members to the American Red Cross in key professional areas by providing meaningful internships at the Northern Nevada Chapter.
If you are interested in gaining professional non-profit experience, the Red Cross is ideal for developing skills and experience while working on behalf of the premier humanitarian organization. Internship opportunities are available throughout the year from direct service to program management and research.

Eligibility
The Northern Nevada Chapter Internship Program is open to young adults enrolled at a college, university, or training program, recent graduates, as well as those transitioning between careers.
Requirements
Those interested in applying for internship positions must meet the minimum requirements listed below.
- Ability to meet any designated minimum requirements for the specific internship listed in the internship description.
- A consistent weekly schedule and availability to complete a minimum of 12 hours/week, unless otherwise stated.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
